The Story
I began this piece just days before the Wichita Wind Surge announced they would be changing their name from the Wichita Wind Surge to the Wichita Turbo Tubs. I guess that means you can call this a collector's item!
 
This piece started as a plain block of wood and went through hand cutting, hand sanding, and hand painting before assembly. No laser-cut templates or mass production. It's finished in the Wind Surge's own navy, red, and yellow, so it reads as unmistakably theirs the moment you see it. I'm a solo maker running ElegantQuirk out of Wichita, KS, so this one's about as local as wall art gets. Made in the same city as the team it honors.
